Local KDE Meeting Experiences of Expos in Britain - Run stalls at UKUUG, Expos in London and Birmingham - Got t-shirts from KDE League - Sold polo shirts and badges from KDE e.V. - give away stickers from KDE e.v. - A4 laminated printouts of KDE icons printed by friendly chap from LUG - A4 colour leaflets written by me, in kdepromo CVS, printed by friendly chap from LUG - SuSE lent us a computer, borrowed monitors and computers from elsewhere - use a wiki to organise it, works wonders - Next event is in 2 months, joint with Gnome, done as freedesktop.org - Money goes in my account, balance kept in wiki and posted to kdepromo Questions - Will we be able to get t-shirts, badges etc for future events including one in 2 months? - What's the best way to get computers and equipment to events? - Why is kdepromo a closed module and should it be used more? - Where do people get merchandise from, e.g. USB pens. - Should we set up a recognised/registered charity or a bank account?
